Petrobras informs about decision in popular action

Petrobras informs that, on April 11, 2024, a precautionary decision was issued in the context of a class action lawsuit underway at the 21st Federal Civil Court of São Paulo, which determined the suspension of Mr. Pietro Adamo Sampaio Mendes from the position of Director of the Company.

The decision is based on alleged non-compliance with the requirements of the Company's Bylaws in the process of appointing the Director. Petrobras will seek to overturn this decision by means of the appropriate appeal, in order to defend the soundness of its internal governance procedures, as it has done in other actions underway in the same Court questioning appointments to the Board.

Material facts on the subject will be disclosed to the market in due course, noting that the cases are being monitored by internal bodies.
