Download Diesel R storage tank at the Presidente Bernardes Refinery (RPBC) in Cubatão (SP)During the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30), which will be held in Belém (PA) from November 10 to 21, Petrobras will contribute by providing diesel with renewable content for road transportation and power generation.
The initiative reinforces the importance Petrobras places on discussions regarding energy and socio-environmental issues, as well as the company's commitment to sustainable development, social inclusion, and the promotion of a just energy transition necessary for Brazil's development.
Petrobras will supply S10 Diesel with 10% Renewable Content – R10 for use in the dedicated bus fleet and in the power generators to be used during the event, according to operational needs.
"COP 30 is a significant opportunity to update the global agenda regarding discussions and initiatives to address the challenges posed by the climate emergency. By hosting the conference, Brazil plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable and inclusive development and can effectively contribute with actions to tackle climate change. Petrobras is part of this global effort, shares these concerns, and wants to be part of the solutions for the success of the meeting," said Angélica Laureano, Director of Energy Transition and Sustainability.
The international cooperation agreement for supplying renewable-content fuel to COP 30 was signed with the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), an intergovernmental organization that fosters cooperation among 23 Ibero-American countries, with experience in promoting educational, scientific, technological, and cultural activities.
