Petrobras informs about ethanol partnerships

Petrobras, in relation to the news published in the media, reaffirms, as disclosed in the material fact of its Strategic Plan 2050 and Business Plan 2025-2029 on 11/21/2024, that it will seek to enter the ethanol segment preferably through minority strategic partnerships or shared control with relevant players in the segment.

With the inclusion of this segment in the Plans, business possibilities will be analyzed and potential partners prospected. After these preliminary stages, Petrobras' effective entry into the ethanol business will be subject to the dynamics of negotiations with potential partners and the evolution of the Brazilian market, in addition to the corporate procedures and approvals applicable to Petrobras' investments.
